It states the pudding is instant. You may have missed it since it's in parenthesis. The recipe sounds devine and easy

When pudding is listed in a cake.. it's always the instant kind.. as far as I know.. but who knows what the other would do... ?? try it and see what happens?

Yummy I have found tonights dessert............I have had butterscotch pudding in my pantry for some time now and now I have a great reason to use it. Thank you so much
